ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia -World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom has been “fully engaged in soliciting diplomatic and military support” for the Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF) in many parts of the world, a top official said Monday.
(EZ) The United States Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs Tibor Peter Nagy Jr. twitted today, that the United States strongly condemns the TPLF’s unjustifiable attacks agains Eritrea. Ambassador Nagy also condemned the massacre of the civilians in Maj-Kadra on Friday.
(EZ) The Ethiopian Human Rights Commission (EHRC) urged the federal and regional security and judicial authorities to work together, to redesign a regional security strategy that can put a final stop to civilians attack in Benishangul Gumuz region.
(EZ) The Ethiopian government said the international community should support the Federal Government in its efforts bring the perpetrators of such gruesome crimes to justice, on a press release today. The horrendous attacks against civilians perpetrated by TPLF is an abominable transgression that the international community needs to not only take note of, but also condemn in the strongest terms possible.
