London Bridge Attack: Three Terrorists Shot Dead After Killing Seven People and Injuring 48

Seven people have been killed and at least 48 injured in a terror attack in a horrific van and knife rampage in central London at about 22:00 on Saturday night. The three male Jihadi terrorists were shot dead by British police.

According to media reports, a white van hit pedestrians on London Bridge at about 22:00 BST on Saturday, then three men got out and began randomly stabbing people in nearby Borough Market.

The attackers stabbed British Transport Police officer who was on-duty and responding to the initial incident on the bridge. His injuries are not life-threatening.

The attackers used 12-inch hunting knives to attack revellers at busy bars and restaurants in the market, sending dozens of others fleeing for their lives.

Police said the three terrorists were wearing what looked like explosive vests, but these turned out to be fake bomb.

The United Kingdom has been attacked three times in close proximity this year, 2017. The first attack was the Westminster attack, on 22 March 2017. The second was on 22 May 2017, the Manchester Arena bombing, and this one, London Bridge attack is the third. Since 2013 security services in the UK have foiled 18 plots.
